2025 JULY HOSIERY SNIP SPACE TO A TRIANGULAR RACING LACE The Outhouse Gallery, Camberwell. Selected as part of this group show curated by Veronica Revuelta - Kumari Abeydeera, Tasalla Tabasom, Tina Crawford, Bhawana Jain, Areej Kaoud and Fari Bradley. The title pays homage to Mina Loy, a British-born artist, writer. She wrote the first Feminist Manifesto, a polemic text against women's subordinate position in modern Western culture. The sentence “hosiery snip space to a triangular racing lace” comes from her most famous poem The Lost Lunar Baedeker, portraying the moon as a land that allowed lifeless adults to run free. The metaphor reflects textiles too, specifically textiles that depict notions of femininity and the female body. (Veronica Revuelta The Activist Curator)
